Fol 2, pencil: carved quatrefoils/ on shutters in small dining room/ Cardiff Castle.

Fol 37, verso, pencil: Paintings by various artists (principally by Fred Weekes)/ in Clock Tower, Cardiff Castle.

Fol 38: from paintings in the Clock Tower, Cardiff Castle.

Fol 45,ink: Mr Thomas Nicholls made the models in particully/ (of London), the whole of the sculpture at Cardiff Castle. Pencil: carved stone capitals in chapel/ (and other places) Cardiff Castle. By Thomas Nicholls, Sculptor.

Several individual sketches are numbered and inscribed with locations.

<p>Mount Stuart Primary School a famous, multi-cultural community school situated in the heart of the developing area of Cardiff Bay. It caters for pupils aged 3 to 11. The school was first established in 1973 in what was then Butetown or Tiger Bay. The area was formed by the building of the coal docks of Cardiff. At one time it is said that more than 30 languages could be heard in the square mile of this area.</p>
