Ganed Bloch yn Silesia a bu'n astudio ac yn gweithio yn Berlin gan arddangos yn oriel Paul Cassirer ym 1911-20. Ym 1934 symudodd i Brydain a daeth yn gyfeillgar â Josef Herman gan ymweld â Chymru droeon. Cafodd y darlun hwn o weithwyr yn chwarel Bethesda ei gynnwys yn arddangosfa Gŵyl Prydain 60 Paintings for 1951.. Mae ei arddull Fynegiannol yn dangos dylanwad arhosol Edvard Munch (1863-1944) a edmygodd waith Bloch ym 1920.

The Palm Ridge Recreation Centre Deer Valley Arizona is the latest in facilities. Persons aged 55 and above pay $500 for a years program. Many members are over eighty years of age. The water aerobics class - three times a week never has less than eighty members. 1997
