Wedi'i ysgrifennu ar gefn y gwaith yma mae: "Tynnais y llun yma yn 1965 yn Efrog Newydd pan oedd llawer o bobl yn protestio yn erbyn Rhyfel Fietnam trwy losgi eu cardiau drafft, ac roedd Burt Glinn, cyd-aelod Magnum, yn arfer tynnu fy nghoes drwy fy ngalw i’n 'Commie photographer'. Yr hyn sy’n ddoniol am hynny yw yr ymunodd mam ac ewythr Burt â'r Blaid Gomiwnyddol pan oedd e’n saith oed! Mewn gwirionedd, pan oedd Burt yn y fyddin, ni chafodd ei ddyrchafu, a phan holodd pam ei fod yn cael ei ddal yn ôl, dywedwyd wrtho fod hyn oherwydd ei gysylltiad Comiwnyddol ym 1932. Atebodd Burt, "Roeddwn i'n saith oed!" Cafodd y dyrchafiad." — Hiroji Kubota

GB. ENGLAND. London. Vanessa Redgrave and Tariq Ali at the head of Britains biggest anti-Vietnam war demonstration ended in London with an estimated 300 arrests; 86 people were treated for injuries, and 50, including 25 policemen, one with a serious spine injury, were taken to hospital. The Guardian suggested demonstrators seemed determined to stay until they had provoked a violent response of some sort, and this intention became paramount once they entered Grosvenor Square. 1968.

Civilian Victim, Vietnam, 1967. ---- Vietnam. This woman was tagged, probably by a sympathetic corpsman, with the designation VNC (Vietnamese civilian). This was unusual. Wounded civilians were normally tagged VCS (Vietcong suspect) and all dead peasants were posthumously elevated to the rank of VCC (Vietcong confirmed).
