The only difference is the age of those competing. Bareback is scored on a seven second ride plus style of riding. The world champion of the class 50+ is over 60 yrs of age. 1980.

The fair is essentially for the sale of livestock and is watched over by the Puck Goat, the largest goat in Kerry who becomes King of the fair for the three day period. 1984.
