Dish
Beswick, John
Hallam, Albert
Rydyn ni’n gweithio ar ryddhau’r ddelwedd hon.
Kidney-shaped dish, white earthenware with clear glaze, the middle section of the upper and lower edges scalloped, plain rim, kidney-shaped foot-ring; the dish is transfer-printed with the 'Greenfingers' pattern, under the glaze in polychrome colours with three vignettes, at the left side of the dish is a scene with a man and woman in typical 1950s costume beneath a trailing tree in a flower garden, the woman is bending down to pick a flower and the man is standing, holding a shovel and smoking a pipe, at the centre-bottom edge of the plate is a second vignette, composed of a watering can and garden shears amid flowers, the third vignette is at the right side of the plate and comprises a woman with full skirt, raking or hoeing a flower bed.
Mae'r wefan hon yn tynnu ar ddata casgliadau hŷn. Rydyn ni'n cydnabod y gall peth o'r wybodaeth fod wedi dyddio neu'n gwahaniaethu, ac yn gweithio i ddiweddaru ein cofnodion. Os oes gennych gwestiwn neu sylw ar ddarn o gelf, cysylltwch â ni.
