Wason, Jason
Rydyn ni’n gweithio ar ryddhau’r ddelwedd hon.
Large dish, high-fired earthenware, square and slab-like in form with double-notched corners, giving a cruciform appearance, gently rising from the middle to the sides, standing on four small square feet, thrown finial at centre of the dish, comprising a cone shaped form surmounting a disc; red slip applied to the surface which darkens towards the rim edges, the surface is burnished to a low-gloss finish and at the centre of the dish is a circle surrounded by a ring of black ground that is embellished with combed incision, the central finial has an orange slip brushed on to its surface, the upright edges of the rim is picked out with gold-coloured metallic oxides.
Mae'r wefan hon yn tynnu ar ddata casgliadau hŷn. Rydyn ni'n cydnabod y gall peth o'r wybodaeth fod wedi dyddio neu'n gwahaniaethu, ac yn gweithio i ddiweddaru ein cofnodion. Os oes gennych gwestiwn neu sylw ar ddarn o gelf, cysylltwch â ni.
