Lilïau Dŵr

MONET, Claude

Pan gafodd y gwaith hwn, a saith a deugain o beintiadau eraill gan Monet o'r lili ddŵr (nympheas), eu dangos am y tro cyntaf, meddai un beirniad brwd: 'Yma, yn fwy nag erioed o'r blaen, mae peintio'n dod yn agos at gerddoriaeth a barddoniaeth. Mae yn y darluniau hyn ryw harddwch mewnol, cain a threiddiol; harddwch drama neu gyngerdd, harddwch sy'n blastig ac yn ddelfrydol.' Hwn yw'r mwyaf cain ei liwiau a'r mwyaf haniaethol ei olwg o dri darlun Monet Nympheas a brynwyd gan Gwendoline Davies ym Mharis ym 1913.

Mae'r wefan hon yn tynnu ar ddata casgliadau hŷn. Rydyn ni'n cydnabod y gall peth o'r wybodaeth fod wedi dyddio neu'n gwahaniaethu, ac yn gweithio i ddiweddaru ein cofnodion. Os oes gennych gwestiwn neu sylw ar ddarn o gelf, cysylltwch â ni.
